We had a great time trying out a new restaurant in Atlanta – The Southern Gentleman. It’s located in the oh-so-posh Buckhead Atlanta development. They really got it so right with this one! The cocktails were delish, the food was perfect and the staff friendly. Sometimes though, it’s all in the details and one detail that won me over was the vintage plates and glassware. It was unexpected and really added to the southern charm of it all.

Our friends had been a few times and highly recommended the shrimp and grits. It was one of the best shrimp and grits dishes I’ve had in a long time {possibly ever}.

After dinner we skipped on over to Gypsy Kitchen for a drink {it’s literally connected to Southern Gentleman via the balcony}. The outdoor patio is simply awesome. The views of Peachtree Road and Hermes give it a New York-esque flare.
