what to wear, where to eat + what to give for mom’s day

Mother’s Day is next weekend {May 8th in case you were about to check the calendar}! I should’ve been on the Mr. a little sooner because all my go-to lunch and brunch spots are looking booked. What really counts on this special day are those sweet, sweet homemade cards and all the extra love from the babes #amiright!

If you’re still looking for eats and treats, here are a few to keep on the radar:

  1. St. Regis is having a Mother’s Day brunch with live jazz music and a flower bouquet competition {more info here}
  2. Neiman Marcus Cafe in Buckhead and let mom pick out somethin’ snazzy
  3. Bon Glaze is offering a dozen heart shaped doughnuts in a long stem red rose box. How perfect is that to go along with all those homemade cards?!
  4. Lure in Midtown is an awesome spot and last I checked they have availability.
  5. Take yo mama to the Atlanta Magazine Southeastern Showhouse – you won’t regret it + they are having mimosas on Mother’s Day!

Flowers are typically a must. I haven’t ordered from The Bouqs Co. before, but they have a very user friendly site and their arrangement photos blow me away {see feature photos above}. Probably my favorite local flower stop in Atlanta is Twelve Boutique & Flowers. Their arrangements have a artistic flair that’s pretty much in a category of its own. I also love Bloom’s of Dunwoody. They make amazing arrangements with a classic style.

However…another great alternative to flowers is a beautiful plant to enjoy in your home and watch grow. I picked this one up at Sprouts recently because it literally states, “Grows virtually anywhere with little care.” Ha!

Here are a few gift ideas! We used this Bose speaker the entire time on our girls trip a few weekends back. The pom pom clutch is adorable and priced at only $40!

PJs // Rose Quartz Ear Jackets // Mom mug // Swell Water Bottle // Chloe Crossbody

I have that adorable tassel (above) and love throwing it on any bag I’m carrying and sometimes my keychain. They are made by local artist Neva Opet but you can stop in for purchase at Crafted Westside.

If you’ve followed along for a bit you know I’m a big fan of gifting art! Gregg Irby gallery in Atlanta features some amazing artists – I’m pretty sure you can’t go wrong.
