With the change of season comes a change in beauty routine. Here’s what I’ve got goin’ on at the moment…
- By far, my favorite tinted sunscreen ever. I ordered from Amazon about a year ago at the suggestion of my friend Theresa, and have been a huge fan ever since. Recently amazon was low on stock and Theresa found me some on Sephora, so I doubled up and ordered two! I use this as moisturizer in the mornings and if it’s a low-key day, I don’t even need powder. Just throw on a lil blush + mascara and I’m out the door.
- Another favorite in the sunscreen department is this Origins eye cream with SPF 20. It adds a hint of brightness under the eye and is perfect for lazy summer days when makeup is optional but you still need protection.
- Tangles + summer go hand-in-hand {unfortunately}. Exposure to all of our favorite elements – sun, sand + water {rosé} leave hair brushing a bit of a nightmare even if you own the wet brush. I love this leave-in conditioner. Ella calls it my “unicorn spray“.
- Hydration is key. Because of the sun…and, you know…wine. Rosé is summer’s water after all. I have my friend Tabetha to thank for this one {the cream not the wine}. Neutrogena Hydro Boost
- Lastly, good masks are key for the change of seasons. During harsh Winter months, I like hydration oriented masks while during hotter Summer months my skin needs more brightening. I picked up this gem recently that’s great for brightening…or scaring the crap out of your kids.
