coping with a crappy week

This has been quite a trying week. Rather than bore you with all the details, I thought I’d share how I cope with stress and a heavy heart.

Exercise is always top of the list. Intense strength/cardio and barre class are my favorites. I still love classpass, which lets me change things up and go to different studios.

I always get so many compliments on these bling-y socks.

A good book is one of my favorite ways to escape reality! A friend sent me this one and I love it so far.

Speaking of books, there are none better than the bible and it is absolutely a place I find comfort and peace. I don’t have a ton of time for devotionals, but I love Dr. Charles Stanley’s daily emails with links to scripture. This one was my favorite this week.

Wine is on the list – duh. You must check out this post titled, Top 6 Wines That Pair Best With Your Child’s Crappy Behavior on Life as a Rambling Red Head blog. Seriously funny stuff! #bottomsup

Of course you guys know I like a little retail therapy! I have been on the hunt for the perfect peep toe bootie. I’ve literally bought and returned three different pairs! I think I’ve finally settled these Tom’s in black. Also really liking these from Sole Society {so many cute things in their latest catalog BTW}.
