We had a blast this weekend visiting Lake Lanier Islands. We stayed in one of the Villa rooms on the water and took in the view along with all the festivity. We’ve been driving there for the Magical Lights of Holiday Nights for several years, but this year we decided to make a night a night of it. All the holiday decor was beautifully done! We arrived late afternoon on Saturday, just in time to watch the sunset on the lake while we cruised the Winter Adventure Park. The kids had a blast playing the artificial snow, eating hot dogs, playing putt putt and warming their hands by the fire pits. Later on they did carnival rides and went ice-skating! Ella turned around just in time to catch Santa strolling the park. I didn’t get to see her face, but her hands over the mouth say it all. What a fantastic Santa he is!
