We had a pretty chill weekend ’round here. Ella was all sniffles Friday night before trick-or-treating (hence the blankie and bottle) so we ran a few streets with the kids and called it a night earlier than usual. Connor was at a friend’s house because he’s at that age where knocking on doors for candy isn’t ‘cool’…sniff. Saturday was lacrosse and playing outside a little in this crisp, fall Atlanta weather.
Just one more of this cute little elephant because I still get to pick the costume :)…
This little cape is one of my favorite fall purchases for Ella that I snagged at the Nordstrom annual sale, it’s so functional and cozy.
On Sunday we hosted our small group from Buckhead Church. It is really such a special group of people and I love putting together a fun spread for this crowd. The authentic, Christ-centered conversation is such a great way to end the weekend and start a new week!
It’s a challenge to keep little fingers from grazing the sweets!
I found these hydrangeas at my local Fresh Market, they are one of my favorites. The cut bell pepper and carrots with hummus add a lot of color, which I love. We are currently shopping for a new rug in this eating area, its a spot that’s abused by so much traffic and food droppings…any suggestions welcomed!
