We spent the last four days in Texas with family and had so much fun. The kids did great on the plane and we seemed to miss the holiday crowds by traveling Wednesday and returning on Saturday. Our family gathering is now up to 57 people! It is really great quality time with everyone because we all stay at this conference center together so for 3.5 days we eat together, play together and stay up late chatting. Of course we do a big Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, then kick it into Christmas-celebrating mode on Friday. The kids have a blast running around with all the cousins, playing basketball and bouncing in the bounce house.

Connor got to go to the Texas A&M vs. LSU game in College Station on Thursday with his cousins, aunts and uncles. It was a gorgeous, chilly day for football! They got back late and exhausted without bringing home the win, but he had a great time. I was trying to dress him in orange and blue to represent our team, but he and Robby said he was should wear maroon to support the Aggies. We compromised and he ended up wearing khaki pants rather than the orange below with the blue and orange sweater and bow tie – so handsome :).
