End of school year madness + professional wear

I gave the blog a little refresh and I’m trying to integrate more tools for easier navigation. So far liking the new flow. The countdown for end of school has officially begun and I’m feeling the chaos for sure. All three boys will be at a new school next year and the transition has me feeling blessed and anxious at the same time. Someone from our small group that normally wouldn’t share bible verses sent this email around this morning, and it was just what I needed.

Philippians 4:6-9
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me–put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

As one of our small group leaders said, this translates to “don’t sweat it”…yes!

Over the weekend I went with a friend to Flywheel in Midtown for the first time and loved it. Also happen to beat my best power score, coming in second place in the female group. Pretty fired up about that! Sunday we had some friends join us for church and brunch {BTW why does Georgia not serve adult beverages before 12:30 on Sundays?}. Then in other notable news Winston lost his first tooth! It was dangling and Robby pulled it out finally. He was very proud, and I continue to be very grossed out by the whole teeth coming out thing. You’d think I’d be at ease with it by now, but no.
