Since we’ve lived in our current home {going on 4 years}, I’ve had my home office parked in the study downstairs right off the front door. It is not enclosed at all so you can imagine with our party of six it is quite noisy on most days. Not to mention a pain to keep clean being in such a visible spot! I was inspired by a solid wood desk I found on the Facebook exchange last fall for a whopping $30 to move my home office upstairs to the guest room. I finally got around to painting it this month and have been a lil OCD about finishing the rest of the room! I wish I had kept a before image of the desk, but I can’t find it to save my life.
