facial symmetry as we age + juvederm ultra plus

facial fillers after forty

Lemme kick this post off by saying these are NOT the most flattering pics of me, but I am so happy with the results that I really want to share!

Increased facial asymmetry is a natural part of aging. No one has a perfectly symmetrical face to begin with; but as we get older bone loss, repetitive facial expressions, sun damage, etc. lead to changes in volume and skin laxity.

I’ve personally done filler in a few spots, but recently tried it on my chin. It created a subtle but definitely noticeable improvement in my facial symmetry that I’m so happy with!

I’ve been going Kavali Plastic Surgery and Skin Renewal Center for a few years now. Dr. Kavali and her team are great about doing just the right amount of filler and/or botox so I can achieve a natural, refreshed look while preventing lines and wrinkles. For reference, I did 2 syringes of Juvederm Ultra Plus.

Here’s a few recent up-close selfies I took last weekend with makeup on ha!
