Last week we had loads of fun The Cockentrice’s first birthday celebration. Located at the fabulous Krog Street Market, tucked away just behind all that hanging meat my kids can’t take their eyes off of each time we visit.
We enjoyed craft cocktails and amazing bites. My favorite was a toss up between the burger and grilled cheese. Sounds simple, I know, but seriously – they’re so damb good!
The icing on the cake that evening was the amazing band – Caleb Warren and The Perfect Gentlemen! They are a talented bunch and so were the folks gettin’ down on the dance floor for that matter. I’m always mesmerized by a violinist.
The husband and wife duo behind The Cockentrice are more than adorable. With a little encouragement from the crowd they took a spin on the dance floor and I think everyone was like…

The other highlight last week was the Anne Barge Fashion Show with special guest Darcy Miller of Martha Stewart Weddings.

Anne Barge is a huge name in the bridal gown industry. Though maybe less known for her eveningwear line, they were all simply stunning.
The bridal gowns were a parade of one jaw-dropper after another! I have to say though – this was my favorite gown of the evening.
Here’s a shot from the back…
One after another they were flawless. I can’t help getting giddy that I have a little gal that might be shopping these gorgeous gowns one day! I wore one of my go-to dresses I snagged last year at Poppy’s Atlanta. My friend Corinna got married a little over a year ago and ran into her talented photographer at the event. He snapped this shot for us.
The icing on the cake at this event {pun intended} was a Sylvia Weinstock cake tasting. Whoa! Gorgeous and delicious doesn’t do justice.
My friend, Suzanne Reinhard was behind making this amazing event come together and she and her team outdid themselves in my book!
