I recently experienced City Barbeque in Decatur and have share how amazingly awesome it was! Being from Texas, I’m always on the hunt for good brisket in, and around Atlanta. I’ve tried a lot of good spots over the years, but believe me when I say, City Barbeque is THE BEST I’ve had (maybe ever)!

Everything from the brisket to the sauces, to the banana pudding was simply delicious. If you’re trying out City Barbeque for the first time, I recommend the “City Sampler” to get a taste of all the goodness! My other faves besides the mouthwatering brisket are the collards, corn pudding and hush puppies. I’m getting hungry reminiscing on it all – ha!

The folks at City Barbeque wake up early each day, slow-smoking the award-winning meats and crafting homemade sides and desserts. Three onsite smokers will run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to ensure an endless supply of delicious barbecue (catering options can be found here). They have legit awards to show for their ‘que, catering, and company culture!

Their second, and newest location in our neck of the woods is in Johns Creek, located at 4210 Johns Creek Parkway Suwanee, GA 30024. Stop by one of their two locations in Atlanta, and I’m certain you’ll be as hooked as I am.
