Grain in Midtown

moet and chandon champagne at grain in midtown atlanta

We rang in the New Year with friends at Grain in Midtown and it did not disappoint! Our crew sipped Moët champagne, enjoyed fresh oysters and small bites, along with creative cocktails.

The intimate atmosphere is a perfect date-night retreat but you can also find a cozy corner with friends. They are one of the few bars in Atlanta that use liquid nitrogen. The nitrogen lets you chill a cocktail very quickly, without any dilution and makes for a great show! In the summer patrons can look forward to “nitro muddles” with herbs fresh from their garden such as basil and rosemary.

Grain’s signature Midtown Mule cocktail was one of our faves, and for good reason. They are the only spot in Atlanta mixing up a cold brew cocktail. The Yama Cold Brew Tower is designed for cold brew coffee. However, Jonathan and the gang at Grain have come up with an inventive way to infuse liquors with freshly grown herbs using this tool. You can’t miss this cold brew tower sitting atop the bar, and now you’ll know what fun they’re having with it {and why the cocktails pack so much flavor}!

As if our crew was not already blown away by the play on cocktails at Grain, we were then introduced to the adult slushy selection. There are two varieties of this bad-boy and both contain Mad Dog 20/20. Can’t wait to enjoy these again on a hot-Lanta day. Adult slushy #yesplease #midtownatl Click To Tweet

As for the drink menu, it’s a collaborative effort. Everyone behind the bar contributes and each has their own creation. With all those creative juices {and libations} flowing – you can’t help but have a great time!
