In atlanta/ eats & drinks/ style

the southern gentleman + anthropologie free shipping + jcrew sale

We had a great time trying out a new restaurant in Atlanta – The Southern Gentleman. It’s located in the oh-so-posh Buckhead Atlanta development. They really got it so right with this one! The cocktails were delish, the food was perfect and the staff friendly. Sometimes though, it’s all in the details and one detail that won me over was the vintage plates and glassware. It was unexpected and really added to the southern charm of it all.
Miller High Life for Mr. T in this beautiful glass.

Our friends had been a few times and highly recommended the shrimp and grits. It was one of the best shrimp and grits dishes I’ve had in a long time {possibly ever}.

I wore this outfit to dinner. Absolutely love this Trina Turk floral skirt; it’s dressy AND comfortable which sometimes don’t go hand-in-hand. Shop my top {similar}//skirt//bag {another option here}//shoes {on sale}

After dinner we skipped on over to Gypsy Kitchen for a drink {it’s literally connected to Southern Gentleman via the balcony}. The outdoor patio is simply awesome. The views of Peachtree Road and Hermes give it a New York-esque flare. //

If you have ever shopped Anthropologie online you know that shipping can be a stinker, so when they have free shipping promos it’s a good time to take advantage. They’re also currently running an extra 20% off sale items. Anthropologie is my go-to for more unique prints and trendy cuts.

I love this split chambray top – especially if you’re not totally on-board with the off the shoulder trend.

This poplin eyelet skirt is currently included in the sale.

This one is priced great at $68 and comes in a few color/pattern options.

Love the colors in this plaid button up.

JCrew is having a sale worth checking out {30% off with code GOSHOPPING}. Here are the things I snagged. Mostly excited about the little cardigans for Ella I had monogrammed. One of them is red with a pink thread for her initials. Can’t wait!

My cousin, and Winston’s godfather came for a visit the past few days. He took W on a little shopping spree for his bday and we hung out at the pool. Always a treat having Norm visit!
