A friend and I loaded up our kiddos the over the Columbus Day holiday weekend and made the 45 minute trek to Uncle Shucks Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch. It was super muddy from raining the last few nights, but the kids didn’t mind a bit.
We ate proper carnival fair-funnel cake, cokes, ring pops and hot dogs, enjoyed a hayride through the corn fields and sifted and sorted through mounds of pumpkins. We agreed that taking six kids (2 toddlers and 4 rowdy boys) through the corn maze was not a good idea, but they had a mini maze for younger ones that they enjoyed taking a few laps around.
Here’s our video from the hayride:
They fed, scared, pet and poked at the goats through the fence. The goats didn’t seem to mind at all. All-in-all a fun fall outing for everyone!
