I was privy to a sneak peak of the Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Showhouse and I have to say it is looking fab! Be ready to be inspired and in awe. There is so much creativity bursting from every room, not to mention the home itself is swoon-worthy! I pretty much could move into the pool house. The line up of events is below, but they are also looking for volunteers each weekend of the event. Volunteers do not have to purchase tickets. Friday, April 22nd is Moonlight & Magnolias where you can purchase tickets for the opening night party and a preview of the showhouse. (SOLD OUT)
Saturday, April 23rd will be an event called Making Your Smartphone Photos Insta-Great, where designers reveal their favorite smartphone apps and social media strategies.
During the weekend April 28th – May 1st there will be a special welcome to metro-area Garden Clubs. Meet local landscape designer Joe Gayle and receive behind-the-scenes tour of the property.
There will be a lecture and book signing on Saturday, April 30th with Dejuan Stroud, one of New York’s most respected floral and event designers. Saturday is also Kentucky Derby Day where there will be pre-race festivities and complimentary mint julep.
On Sunday, May 8th bring along your mother for Mothers, Mimosas & Memories where you can enjoy a complimentary mimosa while sampling the latest beauty products and shopping their trunk shows.
Friday, May 13th join The Antiques Diva, Europe’s largest antiques touring company to learn tips on how to antique like a pro.
