I’d be lying if I said the holidays weren’t stressing me out a bit! I think there needs to be two of me to get it all done. Yesterday was spent wrapping up a few work projects, shopping stocking stuffers, making returns, getting my roots done (hallelujah!) and squeezing in a flybarre class…whew! Robby and I snuck away for a date night to talk presents and relax a little. Very nice end to a busy day.
I found this fur vest and my favorite new jeans at Shop Luna in Buckhead (more about finds here in an upcoming post). These jeans are pretty much my favorite purchase of the year (along with those TB leapord kitten heels…wink). It’s like the more you wear them the more they mold to your body for fit and comfort (does that even make sense?!). You can read more about the technology behind the DL1961 denim here – but I’m here to tell you that they do the job.
Last week we had such a fun visit with Momsie! We did a little early celebration for Ella’s 2nd birthday. I wouldn’t think she is old enough to realize it was her birthday, but she sure was eating up all the attention.
She got the American Girl Doll Bitty twin. I mean the look of excitement on her face was priceless!
I just finished This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper and watched the movie. I loved the book but the movie was so-so. The book is about four siblings and their ego-centric mother gathering following years of astrangement to ‘sit Shiva‘ after the father passes away. The dysfunction in this family is unparalleled! Once I got into it I couldn’t put it down.
