lcm lifestyle lunch + beloved atlanta

I had the pleasure of joining a fabulous group of women last week for the Laura Carson Miller Lifestyle lunch at Trina Turk, Phipps Plaza. Laura is a writer, tastemaker, consultant and connector based in Atlanta… and I’m throwing in there hostess-with-the-mostess! It was a fun group, great eats and the swag bag was such a treat.

I pretty much want EVERYTHING from the Trina Turk summer collection. The colors and patterns are gorgeous, bright and fun. Stay tuned to find out what I snagged for our last minute, adult-only getaway later this week!

This shopping soiree also directly benefited an organization I recently learned about called Beloved Atlanta. They are the only long-term residential home and program for adult women affected by sexual exploitation in the city of Atlanta. I was completely shocked to learn that Atlanta is the number one city in the U.S. with the highest sex economy income of $290 million per year. It is hard to fathom that this city I love is culpable of this, but it’s true.

Beloved Atlanta serves women ages 18 and older seeking freedom from sexual exploitation. They believe that discipleship is healing and Christ fosters this healing. Learn more about them here, and sign up for a one-time or monthly contribution here.
