jeffrey fashion cares 2016

Jeffrey Kalinsky sent one showstopper after another down the runway at the 24th Annual Jeffrey Fashion Cares this week. As one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the country; the philanthropic affair delights guests with an intimate look at Fall’s hottest runway trends.

Colors of the night: emerald green, pops of neon, black + gold, racy reds

On-trend takeaways: leather, velvet, monochromatic, tulle, fur, sequins, mixing structure with feminine embellishments

Designers Jeffrey selected for the runway included Lanvin, Celine, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Gucci, Valentino, Dries van Noten, Saint Laurent Paris, Balenciaga, Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik.

Closely rivaling the runway threads are selections by attendees for the evening. This is the fashion event of the year in Atlanta, and possibly the Southeast, so grandiose is rampant. I was in awe of a dame that wore heel-less, gravity defying shoes like these. Love seeing what peeps put together.

Have to give a shout-out to the pros over at Caren West PR that year-after-year help make this event one to remember and look forward to!
