Can we talk really quick about The Bachelorette this season?! All I can say is the WTH?! I’m going to see if the next episode redeems itself, but I’m pretty close to giving up on it totally. The show is fun to watch because it’s supposed to at least resemble reality TV. I think they snuck some serious actors on this season…I’m calling it now.
In other news I’m pretty thrilled to have our master bedroom coming along. We have been using Robby’s bachelor furniture for the past 6 years so it is quite refreshing to have some updating.

I love, love, love the Augusta Wilson painting they got me for Mother’s Day! Gifting original art is the best. You have something beautiful hanging in your house to cherish and when I’m 80 I can say the kids gave it to me for MD {smile}. I couldn’t decide if it would hang above the bed or on the side wall, but above the bed won out.
Sad to say that the porcelain deer head fell and shattered shortly after I took this photo. Note to self: don’t hang heavier and err breakable objects with sticky hangers…use real nails. I love the character and dimension it brought to that wall so much I already ordered another one. I bought this one from a lady off my local facebook exchange, so I couldn’t replicate it exactly – but this one came pretty close.
I really want to purchase this wall art with my PB rewards. Wouldn’t it be so great to see as you walk out the door everyday?
