This week our school had their first-ever family night so we took full advantage of no homework and headed to the bowling alley. The kids have been asking to go bowling since summer because we pass by Brunswick Bowling every day on our way to school. Ella hasn’t even bowled before and for weeks she would say on the car ride there and back “bowl mama.” Maybe she remembered from a playdate this summer?? Not a clue.
When I picked C up from school and announced we were doing a family bowling night, he bellowed out, “I knew it!” It’s seriously been on our radar forever but we haven’t been able to find time.
With our kids having such an age spread, finding family activities can be a challenge. Movies are either too advanced or too juvenile and aside from the park it can be a struggle.
This was something each of them enjoyed, we ate together then played a few arcade games after. I make no apologies for the fact that I beat all of them at bowling! #mamawins #sorrynotsorry
