It was only my oldest boy’s very first high school homecoming this weekend, no biggie. It dawned on me that this is likely the last dance he will rely on good ole mom and dad to tote him and a date around. Most of his friends already have their driver permits…Lord help me when that day comes!
Us parents had a little fun ourselves and planned a dinner out, then even found a little live music while the kids were dancing the night away.
They requested Waffle House upon pick up, apparently this is not just a late night, post-beer drinking activity. Waffle House knows how to start ‘em young!
I sported the canadian tuxedo for Saturday errands. Such an easy, yet fun look to pull together.
I am having this struggle with SOO wanting to get on the 70’s flare bandwagon, but flares are SOO not flattering for my body type. Long and lean is what they require {at least in my mind} and I’m on the shorter side with hips and muscles {proudly so}. BUT I thought maybe if it’s not a huge investment I could give it a try. I love these below and they’re currently on sale with code SMILE. {As in smile I hope you’re feeling extra skinny today} I also love these, these & these.
I’m also on the hunt for some boyfriend distressed denim. I have one pair that I like, but I’d like a darker shade as well. Again, don’t want to make this a huge investment because let’s be real…wearing rips to most school events, the office and even church most of the time really isn’t gonna happen. I love these, these, and these.
This peplum top is included in the Gap sale right now and totally worth every penny {shop similar skirt here, shoes, necklace}. It’s super comfy and flattering!
I wore this outfit to the office today {cardi, pants, flats, ring}, blush and burgundy are some of my absolute favorites right now. You can shop all the pieces below, or be inspired and shop your closet for a similar look!
