Well I completely missed out on the Lilly for Target goodness. We were out of town and everything sold out by 9 am online. Boo! I will say that I think it’s pretty tacky to show up at the store and load up your cart with full intentions of reselling on ebay. I mean really?!? I will move on though…
We had a great weekend making our way to Louisville, Kentucky for my sister-in-law’s graduation. She received her Master’s degree in Human Resource leadership and I was so happy our family got to share in the celebration. Our boys were asking lots of great questions about higher education and she is setting a great example for them. I know my in-laws are proud to have both of their children with master’s degrees now!
This pic is Connor and I just after the graduation ready to go to lunch. I’m seriously quite smitten with this dress. The length, color and pattern are so fun and I got so many compliments. I’m thinking I will wear it again to some wedding festivities next month.
This is the midi dress I wore for the drive to Kentucky from Atlanta. It is so comfortable and under $30! The chain necklace adds a great pop of color. I picked it up at Poppy’s of Atlanta.
Saturday after the graduation we drove with the kids to Nashville to stay at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Robby stayed a few months ago for work and thought the kids would get a kick out of it. We had so much fun walking through the labyrinth of beautiful greenery, water falls, shops and restaurants. I could have snapped photos all day. This glass sculpture is located just at the entrance. That’s Ella is awe of it. BTW she was such a trooper on this long trip, very proud of her!
We ate at the Mexican food restaurant inside the resort that night then took the kids to swim for a bit. The outdoor pool wasn’t open yet, but the indoor pool was very large with great locker rooms for changing.
As if that wasn’t enough fun for the night, we then headed to the arcade for a few games then on to ice cream!
The night ended with this wonderful light and water show choreographed to music. I could’ve sat there for hours, sipped wine and watched the water dance to the beat. It was a wonderful display our entire family enjoyed.
We will defnitely plan to go back!
