Happy Earth Day folks! I found a fun cupcake recipe on pinterest that I knew the kids would enjoy helping me bake. It was also a great way to have a conversation with them about what it means to conserve and take responsibility for our planet and the beautiful surroundings God has blessed us with. Someone told me recently that 90% of the things we send to recycling each week don’t actually get recycled?! It really forced me to think about what we use and more importantly – how we can reuse more. I’m a work in progress with this because you all know I’m a bit of a shopaholic {wink}. Anyway, I can’t say that all of the cupcakes turned out this pretty…but you get the idea.
Today was just too gorgeous to stay inside. I took Ella to the park then had to finish up some projects so I scooped up the laptop and headed to the closest patio serving adult beverages {smile}. Robby met me and we both worked a bit. Spring always feels too short! I wore this Trina Turk blouse today and I’m in love with the colors and pattern. You can shop more of my favorite TT tops here.
I snagged these Rebecca Minkoff sandals at the Saks Friends and Family sale for 30% off. Ella definitely approves!
