Weekend + Wedding Season wear

Wow I knew our spring sports schedule was going to be nuts, but when you add birthdays, friend birthdays, family visiting and spring social events…well it just becomes impossible. I could’ve used another ME this weekend! Somehow though everyone made it where they needed to be and we survived. Anytime I feel overwhelmed like this I try to say to myself (on repeat) this is just a season and someday I will surely miss this.

We had George’s birthday party at Stars and Strikes on Saturday. Here are my two birthday boys. Connor’s is March 19 and George’s March 18.

George wanted an Auburn cake {we must be doing something right}! Henri’s Bakery did this one, but I still don’t think you can beat a Publix cake.

This is what I wore to the party. It was a rainy day, but not very cold so I pulled out my Hunter flats. I’ve had them for a few years. They are so cute and functional.
anthropologiefloraltopThis Anthropologie floral top screams spring, I’m in love with the pattern and little flare on the sides.

With the arrival of spring, it’s time to start thinking about wedding season. We have a fun one coming up in May, which means luncheon, rehearsal dinner and wedding wear. Here are a few things I have my eye on.
anthropologiedressI bought this one last week thinking it would be perfect for the luncheon.

MLMoniqueLhuillierI loooove this one for the wedding, but it’s not available in my size. I’m on the hunt to find this cut…

camilynbethI wore this navy Go Go Camilyn Beth dress to another wedding and it remains one of my very favorites. It is feminine, flattering and I love the weight of the material.
