We closed on our house a few weeks ago so I’ve finally decided the take the plunge and start revamping my dining room (as a start). We actually don’t use the dining a whole bunch because we typically eat in the breakfast room, but it’s the first room you see when coming in the house.
We rented this house for a year before we purchased, so when we first moved in my aunt came and helped me update the accessories and chairs, but now I’m ready to take it a step further. This dining table was Robby’s in his bachelor pad so I think we’re due!
Here’s the current table, and part of the problem is the awkward height…which you may be able to see from this photo.
I really love a round table, but I can’t decide if I can make it work in this room. I think I’m going to seek some professional advice. Here is one that I love, it has kind of a rustic feel to it.
I also absolutely love the lines on this table from One Kings Lane, and the size may be just what we need for our party of six + guests.
This one from Pottery Barn has the size I like (and the price tag is much less), but my son’s furniture from PB hasn’t held up well so not sure if it could stand up to the beating it will surely take from all of my children.
