We had what was likely the last warm, sunny day of the year this week so I decided to take full advantage and head over to Atlanta Beltline’s Historic Fourth Ward Park for some play and a jog. It really felt like a perfect spring afternoon – I even got tan lines!
The BeltLine is a former railway corridor around the core of Atlanta with a combination of rail, trail, greenspace, housing and art.
We jogged the trail from the Fourth Ward park all the way to Piedmont Park, it was about 4 miles total with the big loop I took…I’m really in awe of all the art and beauty this trail has to offer.
There are walkers, joggers, bikers and rollerbladers all along the path. I seriously might be putting rollerblades on my Christmas list.
This is painted under one of the bridges by an artist named Brandon Sadler. Such amazing work! You can see more from him here.

I’m ordering these beauties for teacher gifts. They aren’t included in the sale but they’re only $10! I’m thinking I’ll fill with a little tissue and some pens, markers and candy.
