hey hey we are off for one last week of fun in the sun before it’s back to the grind! Usually our family takes this trip a little earlier in the summer, but this year’s been extra busy.
Another change to our usual summer routine is location. We are skipping the 30A crowds and heading a little further south to Mexico Beach/Port St. Joe. The boys are at an age where they need a little more activity than just playing in the giant sand box all week, and they love to fish. This spot is supposed to be great for fishing, scalloping and starfish hunting. Stay tuned…

Shortly after I wrote this post we had to take off to the ER for an injury to Winston’s elbow. The boys were wrestling in the basement and after someone landed on his arm it seemed like we needed an x-ray to rest easy. Thankful that the x-ray showed no fractures and we were able to come home with just an ace bandage and sling for comfort. My boys are surely ready for some fresh ocean air and fishing…wish us luck on that long ride!
