Lake Oconee was a blissful little slice of heaven this holiday weekend. I always say I could live there every time we visit. All we need is a boat and I may never come back to city livin! We were feeling festive heading for the lake in our red, white and blue. I’m kind of obsessed with my yeti thermos. I hardly leave the house without it.
This gingham top is so light and comfortable for a road trip or hot summer days.

My fave burt’s bee red lip…it doesn’t smudge and lasts foreva!
Friday night we set up blanket and chairs and listened to live music. It was so fun for the kids and us! ABBA played Dancing Queen and we all jammed out – ha! Saturday we laid by the pool most of the day then the boys fished to their little heart’s content. Later, we watched fireworks across the lake from the golf greens.
After a full day of fun in the sun. Missing Connor, but he’s having fun this week with a good friend at the beach.
We stopped for lunch at Gabby’s on the lake at the Ritz on the way home. If I haven’t shared before, this is where Robby and I got married (well re-married technically…but this isn’t a technical kinda blog – ha).
The kids played outside for a bit before we sat down for lunch. The grounds look just stunning. This is Ella’s I’m gonna get ya face.

My feet start to get sore after wearing flip-flops for several days so these leopard flats worked perfectly for Sunday lunch and the drive home. This hat is one of my favorite purchases this summer {and it’s under $23}. It’s saving me from sun-spots to deal with this winter!
This week is all about organizing and eating clean. I’ve been packing, unpacking and re-packing so much this summer that I can’t seem to find ANYTHING. Not to mention the mess of my office area. Sooo this week I’m vowing to tackle it.
Happy Monday!
